Do you have an expansion card into which you plugging in the printer. The socket would not be in the main group of connectors but separate and in the vertical slots. Some port expansion cards had both Serial and parallel ports so this might be the missing driver. If so you would need to identify what the card is and find the appropriate drivers. Add serial ports with fewer conflicts. I just bought a PCI card (a very cheap generic one) and I can't find any compatible drivers.
I get PCI Serial Port and PCI Parallel Port in other devices in Device Manager.
I'm using Windows 8.1 x64 and ASRock Z68 Extreme7 Gen 3 motherboard.
EDIT:
On the card it says PCI 2S1P GP 323B6617G 07/23
EDIT2;
I found out that the name of the card is HP DC195A and most people say it doesn't work on any Windows newer than XP.
As @Tom Tancredi said, it might work with Windows 10 due to better legacy support.
Is that my only option now or is it there a workaround to use XP drivers on 8.1?

Kpop mp3 free download songs. As always, you'd obtain any required device drivers from the pertinent device's manufacturer. In this case, get them from the computer's or motherboard's manufacturer(s).
Dvd photo slideshow free. I've found it best not to download any 'Driver' updates from Microsoft's Windows Update, unless they're for a hardware device originally manufactured by Microsoft. Device drivers provided by each component's manufacturer's web site are likely to perform better and offer more features than will the watered-down, 'generic' drivers that those manufacturers provide to Microsoft for distribution via Windows Update.

As you're not experiencing any problems, you very probably don't have any need for these drivers. They'd become relevant only if you were to install a PCI expansion card and/or want to use the computer's built-in modem. Also, be aware that any problem reported by a Norton utility is highly suspect. You'd probably be much better off with no Symantec/Norton products installed on your computer; they tend to take a heavy toll (compared to many free alternatives) on system resources and slow your computer down.
